That is the greatest movie I’ve seen recently, probably also the best thriller that I’ve never seen. It’s like um…Oh my God is the only sentence I can say after the movie. It’s a movie you can’t take your eyes off it and can’t stop thinking about it even after the end of the show.It’s not a movie with body splitting, blood splashing, or brains exploding, eyes being taken off, no, none of these.(except for the heel cutting thing) But without these disgusting things, it still makes the impression of somber, heavy, and bloody feeling there. The killer doesn’t kill for pleasure or some kind of mental disease like in most the movies. He kills for…life. To let people understand and cherish the opportunity to live in this world. Kind of like the concept which BR wants to convey.
Some people(maybe most , but definitely includes me…) just live like a dead. They don’t know why they’re here, why they do these things, what they want, how they survive. They live without any purposes or goals. They don’t cherish their friends, their families, and even themselves. Like Dalwin’s Origin of Species, livings creature live through natural selection and it’s definitely a kind of struggle which is ignored by everyone. To survive we have to eat, not only animals and vegetable, but also human beings. When you get the permit of a school, get a job, a position, you’re actually “eating” someone.(like in 魯迅’s novel) So you have to be grateful, remember the people you kill(in some meaning), take their flesh and blood into yours. Don’t let them become useless, but try to find your meaning of life to continue theirs.

The movie builds an extremely intense atmosphere and environment for the characters to develop the confliction and interaction. The real killer who shows up in the end is the most surprising thing in this movie I think. It really tricks me cause’ the man in the hospital looks really…um…very potential to be a psycho killer. But that’s why it’s so successful! It tricks you and makes you feel so proud that you’ve already known who the killer is in the middle of the movie, but unfortunately, the scenarist is still smarter than you.
Finally, I love Adam. XD
He is really cute and talented! He is the one who wrote Saw1 and 2(I’m not sure about 3) and the scenario and plots are really fantastic! As a actor he is good too. I can still hear his scream…the voice and the way he drags his body…lingers not only on the ground but also in my ears and eyes. You’re damned good, Adam. XD
